Description
This subject examines the structures, frameworks, and practices that constitute effective project governance across organisational and program contexts. Students develop a critical understanding of how governance enables — or inhibits — decision-making, accountability, and value delivery in project environments. Drawing on both theory and practitioner experience, the subject prepares graduates to design, implement, and evaluate governance arrangements appropriate to the scale and complexity of their project context.

Analyse and evaluate project governance frameworks against recognised standards. Design governance structures appropriate to project scale, complexity, and organisational context. Establish decision-making authorities, accountability mechanisms, and reporting frameworks. Identify and address governance failure in project and programme environments.
