John Al Khateeb is a management consultant, university lecturer and researcher working at the intersection of complex project management, AI implementation and enterprise transformation. His work is grounded in the premise that AI implementation is inherently both a complex project and an enterprise transformation challenge, and that organisations are adopting AI faster than their governance models can keep pace with it. Closing that gap requires more than technology adoption: it requires the ability to navigate complexity, redesign organisations and operating models, and establish governance capable of adapting as technology, people, processes and decision-making become increasingly interconnected.
John is an active member of multiple prestigious and professional organisations, including the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), the Project Management Institute (PMI), the International Centre for Complex Project Management (ICCPM), and others in the field of complex project governance, management, and systems thinking, and their application.
