October 2026: AI in Construction, P3GP® and Change Management
INMAA webinar explores governed adoption of agentic AI in construction

On 1 October, INMAA Advisory delivered “Agentic AI for Construction: From Opportunity to Governed Adoption”, led by John Al Khateeb. The session examined potential applications across construction workflows and the organisational foundations needed to support them.
A central insight was the distinction between what AI can do and what it should be authorised to do. Searching project documents or drafting a site diary carries different consequences from assessing a contract variation or authorising payment. Each process needs an appropriate level of agency, oversight and accountability.
The webinar also explored how undefined workflows, unclear ownership, disconnected site and office practices, and insufficient training can undermine adoption. INMAA’s approach connects opportunities identified by people close to the work with governance and support from enterprise leaders.
For construction leaders, the practical takeaway is to assess candidate processes individually: check data readiness, consider the consequences of error, and establish decision boundaries before deployment.
P3GP® November cohort: information session on 15 October

INMAA Advisory will hold a P3GP® information session on 15 October for professionals considering the November cohort. The session will introduce the certification, explain the learning pathway and provide an opportunity to ask questions.
P3GP® focuses on the governance of projects, programmes and portfolios: how decisions are made, accountability is established, and oversight supports delivery. Its principles-based approach applies across traditional, agile and hybrid environments.
For leaders and practitioners, the distinction matters. Delivery methods help organise the work; governance establishes who has authority, when decisions require escalation and how initiatives remain aligned with organisational objectives.
The information session offers an opportunity to explore how the qualification relates to your responsibilities and professional development.

INMAA's Enterprise Transformation Framework Up Close

The governance insight
Within INMAA’s Enterprise Transformation Framework, change management connects organisational intent with everyday behaviour. Governance needs visibility of whether people can—and do—work in the intended way.
A useful question for the governing body is:
“What evidence shows that the new way of working has been adopted?”
Usage patterns, workarounds, staff feedback and the retirement of old processes can reveal more than a completed training register.
For leaders, the lesson is to assign an owner to change management, involve affected teams early, and keep assessing adoption after implementation.
